De Bruyne has already announced that he will leave City at the end of the 2024-25 campaign, once his contract expires. While the Belgian midfielder is yet to make a final call on his next destination, he has been linked with a move to Major League Soccer in the US.

Amid speculation over De Bruyne's future, Liverpool star Salah jokingly extended an invitation to the Belgian to join the Reds as a free agent ahead of the 2025-26 campaign. After the Cityzens' FA Cup final loss against Crystal Palace, the 33-year-old had even hinted that he might opt to stay back in the Premier League.
